9 Months! Did I
really just make it to this point!?! I can remember laying in bed with Brian reading my Pregnancy journal every night and it telling me how much longer we had to go and how far 231 days seemed at the time. WOW. It. Went. FAST! I am currently 36 weeks and 1 day and cannot believe that it's October and we're going to have a BABY this month! I must say for the most part I am still feeling great. My pelvis is still the devil, but I've seem to just learn to deal with it I guess. For not having the room she once did, Bexleigh still manages to move like a MANIAC in her little apartment. I can definitely tell she has dropped and I feel like she may just fall out some days. My body looks like it's been taken over and I do not even recognize the person in the mirror anymore! I am officially, to-date, carrying around an extra 52 lbs (noooo, I ain't scurred to mention how much my chunkay butt has gained) and CANNOT wait to get it off. SOMEHOW, I have managed to not be swollen and have avoided the dreaded stretch marks and them scary veins they talk of. Thank you big man upstairs! My hair is fantastic and my skin has been pretty amazing as well. My doc says that I am measuring right on target and that I "look great and am hiding my baby weight very well." I think he needs to visit his eye doctor this week- he clearly needs to have his vision checked. I am quickly running out of more clothes that actually
fit, so hopefully peanut comes before it gets too, too cold. We pretty much have all things in order for Bexleigh to arrive, so now it's just a waiting game. Our last birthing class is tomorrow and we get to tour the hospital and delivery room so that will be a good thing! My birf-day is this week and wouldn't mind a little "early" birthday present...
hint hint. I actually put it in my blackberry for next weekend to "Have Bexleigh today..." We'll see how that works out for me. lol My cats are so in loooove with all her toys and they have already investigated each one to make sure they are, indeed, super cool. Now it will just be interesting to see how they like being "her toy" when she comes. :)
Ok, that was my intended, rambling post. Hang in there with me people, that's just how my brain is working these days. Expect nothing more in the weeks to come... I'm straight up delirious and in my own little world :-D
Here's a lil picture of my 36 week "spare tire" for your enjoyment.
