32 wks 5 days... 1224 hours...but who's counting?!?

Ok so pardon me, these past few weeks have been a little crazy, hectic, etc. It is coming down to the end and I can see the finish line! I only have 7 more weeks to go until Bexleigh is fully cooked and ready to bust into this world (unless she decides to come out early or...ahem... late.) Things have been going mostly well. This past week I have been experiencing some mild-medium cramping and it feels like she has completely run out of room. She is pushing a ton more now and loves to jab me in my ribs with her little feet. So far the sciatica mess is still gone and hoping it stays that way. That was no party folks. I am now going to the doctor every 2 weeks and Brian and I will be starting our child birth education classes this Monday...he is thrilled (said with much sarcasm!) As much as some of it will be a little over dramatic, I'm sure we'll learn a few good things along the way! ;-)
A few weekends ago I had my first Baby shower and it was very fun. It was also a very special day of remembering Bexleigh's Grandma Patty, who we lost 6 years ago on that date. There's not a second that goes by that my heart breaks that she is not physically here to share all the wonderful things that are happening in our lives, but she is always with us in our hearts and I know she is watching down on us and will be smiling the day Bexleigh arrives. I cannot wait to tell our daughter how wonderful, special, and beautiful her Daddy's Mom was.
Grandma Patty's Memorial Flowers at the shower. We miss you!

I had so many good friends there to celebrate this special time in our lives. We got a ton of very useful and adorable things for little Miss Bexleigh. She is spoiled rotten already...look out! My 2 best friends from New York, Holly & Jenny D, flew in to celebrate with us and it was so nice to have them here! We've been through a lot together and it meant the world to have them here for this special day! My mom can definitely throw one heck of a par-tay! Holly's mom, Suzie, flew in from California to visit and help with the shower and we don't know what we would have done without her- she is amazing! My sister, aunt, and other 2 bffs, Katy and Amber, helped out with the shower as well, and without them- it wouldn't have been the success that it was! So many wonderful people putting their time and energy into my shower day was very much appreciated- LOVE YOU ALL!!! :)
Mom & Mama Suz- they can throw PARTIES!!
My Aunt & Sister holding down the food station!
Holly, Me & Jen geting ready to head to my shower!
The Candy bar was a hit!
The beautiful tables each with yummy cupcakes made by Katy & Amber!
All the clothes my Mom bought for Bexleigh! She's my child alright~
Me, Holly, Teena & Jen- love these girls to pieces!
Bexleigh's Fanti's- Mckenzi, Amber, Jo, (Me), Katy, & April (baking Jackson as we speak)
Daddy Brian showed up just in time for dessert and to load the car!
Where are we going to put all this stuff! So fun!!!
I have one more shower coming up this weekend and we are looking forward to seeing more of our family and friends! Bexleigh's room & closet are getting filled with lots of fun stuff and we have scheduled for our furniture and bedding to be delivered in 2 weeks! I absolutely CANNOT wait to put her room together! Pictures to come...stay tuned!

I believe I mentioned a few posts ago that we were having our 4d ultrasound done, and that Bexleigh did NOT cooperate for the 1st appointment, so they let us come back for a 2nd attempt. Wellllllllllllll, she didn't cooperate then either. SO, they were nice enough to let us come back for a 3rd try. We went this past weekend and after about 20 minutes of Bexleigh still being a little stinker, the ultrasound tech lady decided she was going to tilt the bed backwards, basically putting me in "headstand" position. " Brian, we're gonna have you stand behind her to make sure she doesn't slide off..." Mmkay?!? Well, it worked! She slid up a little bit out of the birthing tunnel just enough so we could see a much clearer image of her beautiful little face than we've gotten the last two attempts! YAY! She has the most beautiful lips I've ever seen- definitely got those from her daddy! We got a 30+ minute dvd of her moving around from all 3 appointments and it is such a special keepsake! I'm so glad we decided to do this! Now I REALLY can't wait to meet her :)
Hey pretty girl :)
Sticking her tongue out already :)
Either her arm tastes really good or she's taking after our cats! lol

Next up- our 33wk appointment & NeeNee's birthday! Happy (early) Birthday Momma!!! LOVE YOU! :)

30wks, a Bathroom, and a SHY baby...

30 weeks 1 day!

Belly measured 39 1/2 inches today. wowza

Hello Friends & Fam...

It is almost down to single digits... I have 10 weeks left of this pregnancy shindig and can't believe we made it to this point so quickly! Bexleigh is somewhere around 3lbs and 15.7in long and she is having a ball in her little nest. The coolest thing happened the other night as Brian and I got in bed....we felt her FOOT! OMG! It was so wild. I've been able to feel her head/butt a lot lately because of her little tricks she likes to play, but never any limbs. I had my hand on my stomach and she pushed that little foot so hard I thought it just might come through my skin. It was the coolest thing I have felt yet. Brian put his hand on next to see if she'd do it again, and sure enough she did! He said that was the hardest kick he could ever imagine! We may have a lil soccer player on our hands people!

I am still feeling pretty good, but starting to get "uncomfortable" whether it's sitting, standing, or laying. As much as I want her to continue cooking, I'm just about ready to punch my time card in... mama's ready to be done. I wouldn't mind sharing my birthday with her if she wanted to debut, oh say....23 days early?!? I'm just being honest here. We have scheduled our "learn how to deliver & become a mommy & daddy" classes and they start in 2 weeks. Brian, although not thrilled about going, will see how much better he will feel after seeing what kind of treat he got himself into. ;-D Fun stuff-can't wait!

NeeNee just finished painting the nursery and it looks awesome!
Her bedroom with fresh white paint!
This is her bedding fabric.
I can't wait to start filling her room with all her goodies she will soon be getting at our shower this weekend :) Her bathroom is now finished and I couldn't be more in love with it. The cats are having a hard time learning that this is no longer their "drinking hub" and that they will have to share soon. ewwwwwww boy
Wall color is fabulous!
Bexleigh's towels.
Full view of bathroom.
The sink & goodies.
Mama gettin her drink on!

On a semi-exciting note, we traveled to get our 4d ultrasound this weekend in hopes that we would get to see our beautiful baby girl's face and to watch her wiggles in action. PUNKED! Again, our child decided she was NOT going to cooperate for the nice ultrasound lady and they placed her file in the "bad baby" section. How sad! Bexleigh is head down (a plus!) and she is buried in my hip with her face smashed against my uterine wall. Basically, my child has her face pressed up against the glass--how cute. When we did get to see glimpses of her face, she had her hands covering most of it. She likes to Vogue-that's my girl. However, a few awesome things did come out of the appointment. 1- We DO get to go back for a 2nd attempt to catch her in action and try to see a clearer image of her face. 2- We did get a few shots to take home with us that showed her cute little lips, nose & hands. 3- We got to hear her heartbeat again in surround sound and it was still as amazing as ever. So we didn't leave empty handed, but I guess my little girl is not the "performer" that I thought she would be! Oh well! I can see it now... She'll be the one on stage at her dance recital- arms crossed, bottom lip out, brows bent in- REFUSING to do the dance she practiced all year. Lovely.
Well it's time to feed the little diva--so have a good week everyone!

NYC fun, Sciatica, a few contractions...and a partridge in a pear tree.

Hello :) It's me...the not-so-on-the-ball blogger. I have a few things to catch everyone up-to-date.
A few weeks ago I took a weekend trip to NYC to celebrate a bachelorette weekend for my bff Holly. The weekend was so fun and jam packed! Her bachelorette party was SO MUCH FUN! We had a surprise lingerie party with a few of her friends and Momma Suz and she got a lot of very nice "unmentionables." lol After that we headed to a great Italian place for dinner where we had the whole lower level all to ourselves. The food and company were very good! As soon as we finished up dinner, we headed off to the main event of the night. All I'm gonna say about that is it was a BLAST! We all got in touch with our inner DIVAs. Good times. The next day we had a shower for Holly at her apartment with lots of her NY friends and that was such a great time. Overall, the whole weekend was a success and getting to see everyone again was so great! Bexleigh was a trooper the whole time and she even let me get the best sleep ever! The day after I returned home, I started experiencing the most awful pain in my tailbone/left butt cheek. Holy smokes, this was intense and I didn't really know what was going on. Then my dear, go-to-for-everything-pregnancy-related bff said, "Honey, you got yourself some Sciatic nerve pain. Welcome to pregnancy." Lovely. Over the next 2 days it grew worse to the point I couldn't even put any pressure on my left leg to walk. I immediately scheduled a massage because that was the only thing I could think would make my badunka dunk feel better. I also called my doctor after a few days of not being able to walk & they confirmed the lovely sciatica condition and suggested I see a physical therapist. Bexleigh was having loads of fun with this. She let me have it for a total of 8 flippin days!!! I would wake up each day pretty normal and by the end of the day be stuck on my arse because I couldn't walk. Luckily, today is the first day I have not felt any butt pain at all (knock on wood!!!) and I hope it continues.

Now this whole contraction business...it ain't no joke. This past Saturday we went to my newest obsession/favorite restaurant, Wasabi. I ate what I ALWAYS eat and had a fantastic time with our cousin and her husband for her birthday. About 10 minutes into the drive home I started to feel extreme cramping and pressure in my lower abdomen. It was getting more intense as we continued the drive home. I was feeling a little uneasy about this...not knowing what in the world was going on. As soon as I got home, I sat on the porcelain throne because that's the only place I felt like I may find relief. After sitting there for a few minutes I had four very sharp and intense contractions. They lasted for about a few seconds each. The rest of the night I spent in much discomfort, and of course got no sleep. The next day, I still felt a lot of pressure in my lower abdomen, but was feeling a ton better than I did. After going back and forth on what to do, I decided I better give the doc a jingle and just see what he thought was going on or if he felt I needed to make a little trip. I explained everything that went on in the past 20 hours and it was kind of left up to me. I chose to wait the night out and see if I felt any worse, which thankfully I did not. The past two days have been pretty normal, so I feel much better about this whole ordeal. I think Bexleigh is just having waaaaaay too much fun with all my organs. As for now I'm supposed to just take it easy (whatever that means!lol) and watch for any other "out of the ordinary" things to come back. I'm feeling confident that all should be fine.

As for baby movements, Bexleigh is still moving around quite a bit. I think I can finally tell where her head is now. It seems as though she likes to stand on my left side and push her looooong legs straight and push her head up out of my right side. It is quite a sight to see and I am trying to catch it on video. She's the most active child ever and I just wonder what she'll be like in the outside world! She should be a little over 2 1/2 lbs and about 15-16 inches in length.

As for me, I'm somewhere around +32 lbs and it is not fun carrying all this extra weight around! I can already taste my next marathon training schedule for MAY! Bexleigh better looooove her jogging stroller! I am still taking Zumba classes when I can and crack up when I watch my big ol belly in the mirror. I'm happy to be entertainment for other people-lol. At my last appointment I got tested for Gestational Diabetes and proud to say I am GD FREE!! Whoo hoo! My turkey timer has popped (aka the belly button) and it creeps me out. It reminds me of a squishy mushroom! Eewww! I am still stretch mark free so far and thrilled about that. My cravings have died down a bit. I don't really have to have anything anymore. I've noticed that I get full much faster these days.
Brian is phenomenal. He is the greatest husband in the world! I get waffles & OJ in bed every morning and he loves to rub my belly and make Bexleigh wiggle. He's been so great through this whole process so far! He even tells me I still look beautiful even though we both know I look like a swollen Oompa Loompa. Basically, he rocks. :)
The nursery is getting painted by NeeNee, which is what we plan to call my Mom since my Grandma is already "grandma." :) Bexleigh already has a bathroom and I absolutely LOVE it!! It's so cute and I will post pics as soon as NeeNee paints it! We have a few baby showers coming up and I can't wait to get some things to play with!! She already has tons of adorable clothes that I love holding up and pretending she's in them. Here is a sneak peek of her furniture!!
Well, that's about as much catching up as I can do for now. We have our last 4 week appointment in a few weeks and then we start going every 2 weeks. We are going to be doing a 4d ultrasound very soon, which they put on a DVD for us-very much looking forward to that!

I am signing off currently at 29wks 3 days :)

27weeks 2 days

Hello. I know, it's been awhile. I'M SORRY!!!!! I've just been soooooo busy relaxing that I just haven't found a free minute to blog, but today I did. ;)

Let's see..what has been going on in the little world that PSK is living in currently. Bexleigh is definitely one active child, and that's putting it mildly. Her typical day includes waking me up with her wiggles, kicks, and punches around 6am and pretty much continues all day long, with a few short naps squeezed in there. She LOVES to be on my bladder, which you can imagine what kind of fun that creates for me. "Gotta go, gotta go, gotta go right now....look out please. (tinkle tinkle) ahhhh. ----27 seconds later---- Are you kidding me, I gotta go again?!? -----sit down...nothing. ARE you serious!?! " It goes a lil something like that for hours at a time. We have gotten her on video a few times and wow is that a sight to see. So fun!
As for me, I'm still feeling pretty good. I can tell that my energy is slowly leaving me once again though. I'm still able to do a few Zumba classes a week, along with some walking at night, but that's starting to get more and more challenging. Bexleigh is growing and taking up more room in my belly and I still feel the stretching from time to time, which is still a little uncomfortable. It's actually getting harder to get in and out of my SUV, but I'm not sure a car would be any better. Last night I was getting out of the car and felt a horrible pull in my right side of my abdomen. Pretty sure I ripped my ab muscles to shreds. :( It's feeling better today, so I'm sure not too much damage could have been done. Who knew such easy tasks could become so challenging. I'm sure its only begun! LOL
Tomorrow I get to have my sugar test to see if I have Gestational Diabetes. Marvelous. Let's hope and pray that I DON'T because, I SUCK at following strict rules when it comes to eating. I promise if I'm cleared from this GD I'll cut back on the Kit Kats. PLEASE!!
Ok, that's about all I can do today. I have a NYC trip coming up that I will have lots to talk about. So until then, LOVES!~

Happy 4 years to us!

Wow- what a fun, yet busy weekend we just wrapped up. On this past Thursday, Brian and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary! This was the last one we would celebrate with only the two of us!

Thursday-
Brian went to work for the day, as always, and I chose to have a "trophy wife" day at the pool with some of my favorite girls. (It's a tough job, but someones gotta do it!) The weather was absolutely perfect, the water was just right, and holy smokes I may have even gotten a little tan. Look out. After enjoying several hours laughing and cackling (what we do best), I headed home to greet my man and get ready for our dinner date. We had a fantastic evening and Brian had told me that he had a little getaway planned for us. How cute! The next day we would travel to Cleveland.
Friday-
After working a few hours in the morning, we packed a few things and got on the road to Cleveland. The drive went pretty quickly and we were soon at Legacy Village. Let the shopping begin! We walked around and I kept getting sucked into all the kid's clothing stores. ewww boy! I found my favorite store in the whole wide world... http://www.janieandjack.com/ . I could have easily gone nuts, but Brian was there to keep me and my wallet in check. I can't wait to dress her in all the cute things they have to offer!!! After shopping for a few hours we decided to dine at CPK ( a huge favorite of mine right now) and head to Cheesecake Factory for dessert-to-go afterwards. That was an amazing idea. I had Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake and Brian had Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake. We took our dessert to our hotel and demolished it in 6.3 seconds flat. Mmmmm.

Saturday(25 wks)-
First, I will say that I probably got the best night of sleep I have had since before I was preggo. The bed was just the right amount of comfort and I claimed the side of the bed closest to the bathroom. Double score! I pretty much slept like a baby until mine decided she was going to have a mini Zumba session at 6am. Wow...I mean, I know she has started moving alot lately, and we've even gotten to see her at times, but daaaang. She was using every organ within reach as her personal trampoline and I just imagined her swinging from my intestines like Jane looking for her own Tarzan. It was pretty much impossible to go back to sleep, so I woke up Brian, insisting that he check out his little girl's crazy behavior. Secretly it was way fun. So we got dressed and started the day off with the complimentary breakfast offered at the hotel. We got down there just as they finished cooking everything, so our food was really good. After an amazing breakfast, we headed back up to the room to relax for a bit until the mall opened. I took a much needed nap and Brian caught up on his ESPN highlights. ZZZzzzzzzz

Now that I was rested, we packed everything up and headed for the mall. We shopped around some more until it was time for our pampering session. Brian had scheduled us for a couples massage, which was also much needed!!! Our girls were both good matches for each of us- the hour went by so quickly :**( Now that we were feeling oh-so-good it was time to feed the pregnant lady, so off to PF Chang's we went! I forgot how much I miss eating there! We had a great lunch and then got on the road for home, which included one final stop along the way at Cold Stone for a tasty treat. For me: Chocolate ice cream with Kit Kat mixed in. For Brian: Cake Batter ice cream with Reece's Cup & Marshmallows mixed in. Wow, I'm salivating while I'm typing this. Too bad it's midnight, or I might have asked Brian to run up there and get me some!

That pretty much sums up our anniversary. We had a great time together as always and we are looking forward to many more exciting anniversaries with our new little addition. Life is perfect when you get to spend it with your best friend. Love you B!!
I am currently at 25wks 1 day and still feeling great. I'm so happy to be back to my normal activity; taking walks, occasionally dropping in on my friends' Zumba classes, etc. Bexleigh is such a wild woman and it is so cool to be able to see her movement now. She is most active in the morning and right after meals, but she truly is a wiggle worm non-stop. She is going to be soooo tired when she comes out! We also discovered that she likes Lady GaGa (LOL) so we've been jamming to her lately on the ipod. I've currently gained 25 lbs and that blows my mind. We were told that she is weighing in around 1lb 14oz, which was what my nephew was when he was born at 25 weeks. I couldn't imagine having her come out right now and thanking God everyday that Reno is healthy and happy. We were also told that she is "Frank" breech right now- which means she is finally head up-butt down, but her legs are up by her head, in front of her face. She's quite the Cirque du Soleil girl. All of her vitals look great and her heartbeat was around 150-155. Our next appointment will be the Sugar test to see if I show signs for Gestational Diabetes. Let's hope that I do not, because those who know me know that I ALREADY struggle in the eating department due to my picky-ness. This would only be a disaster for me.
Our first baby shower will be next month--can't wait!!

Have a good week, Readers!!
Jenn

4th of July fun & 24 weeks!

Hope everyone had a great and safe 4th of July week/weekend! Here's a few shots from this week's events: My nephew Samuel's 5th Birthday party- Cookout at Bobby's- First Town Days Festival.

Reno with is big water balloon!

Joplin waiting for her balloon to be filled!

The birthday boy Samuel ready to dig into his cake! Uncle B added golf balls to it ;)

Opening all his presents.

Seriously the funniest little guy I know. Love you Birthday Boy!

Brian and I at Bobby's cookout! Yes, my husband gets extremely tan and I don't.

Brian working at the festival with Lilyanna. So precious! She and Bexleigh will be BFF's just like her mom and I were growing up and still are. :)

Well I'm at 24 weeks now and still doing great. Bexleigh was still on her head at our last ultrasound appointment, making it difficult for the lady to get her spine measurements. They also noticed that my cervix was a little under where they'd like it to measure. SO, no activity for me until we go back next week for a 3rd ultrasound. Let's hope this lil diva cuts me a break and cooperates next time!! FINGERS CROSSED!

----------------------------------------- 1 week later------------------------------------------

3rd ULTRASOUND APPOINTMENT:

Ok just returned from the ultrasound and WHOO HOO....Bexleigh has FINALLY gotten off of her head AND off of my cervix. This is good news people. Apparently her lil headstands were causing my cervix to shrink, which could have led to some early labor activity. Holy Happiness she moved- as much as we can't wait to meet her, now is just TOO SOON girlfriend! She was cute as a button and she finally let us have a look at her face too!! So fun. Here's a sneak peek of her beautiful lil head shot:
We just love her to pieces and have started getting really excited now that we have registered and picked out things that she will get to use one day soon. I designed her bedding (yes, I had a temporary Martha Stewart moment) and it is so fabulous. The colors are black, white, hot pink, and bright green- pics of the nursery will come once it is done :) I'm really looking forward to our baby showers- I just want to play with all her stuff already!
Next up....our last Anniversary with just the two of us :) Looking forward to celebrating 4 amazing years with my best friend.

Bexleigh's First plane ride to Cali for Holly~

Hi readers :) I'm sorry... I've been very MIA lately. You see, I had every intention of composing this blog this past week, but somehow it got away from me.

My mom and I recently returned from our much needed getaway to California. We went out to help Holly, my bff from college, and her mom Suzie with the wedding planning and to attend her first bridal shower.

Our flight out was not too bad, a little long for my liking, but not bad. As soon as we landed and turned our phones back on, my text inbox was flooded with messages letting me know that Michael Jackson had just died. I was in shock. I couldn't believe that the man who inspired myself as well as millions of other dance and music artists was really gone, for good. What a sad day in history that was. On a happier note, I knew Holly & Suzie were on their way to pick us up!!! We were so excited and happy to see their faces! This was the start of our busy (but SOOO worth it) trip. On the way home we stopped at Cosi for lunch and had lots of time to fill each other in on our scoop! The Cosi waiter even delivered us a complimentary Smores dessert in honor of our beautiful bride to be! After lunch, we headed for home sweet home. The rest of the day was pretty low key. We hung around the house and Holly's bff from home came over to hang out for the evening. We played the "catch up" game with her and then started working on some of the bridal shower games for Holly's party. After finishing up those details, it was time for dinner...... taco night style! Suzie and my mom had prepared a delicious dinner of tacos, burritos, chimichangas...ok maybe not those, but you get the picture~ We had a very yummy dinner...so yummy that Bexleigh decided that she was now going to put on a show for us! For the very first time, I felt her kick. Like a real kick! I freaked out and had everyone come see if they could feel what I was feeling and they did!! Yeah! That was so unbelievably cool. I was just bummed because poor Brian was all the way back in Ohio and he missed his baby girl's first kick. I called him the next morning to fill him in and he couldn't believe he missed it :( I told him he would get his own little "Hi Daddy" kick when we get home.

The following day was meeting with the Wedding Planner and FLOWER POWER day. We all went to the wedding/reception site, and must I say it was absolutely perfect. It was such a beautiful site to marry the man of her dreams. Holly tied up some last minute details with her wedding planner and everything seemed to be pulling together quite nicely. Later that day we met with Holly's Auntie Peg, who was doing her floral arrangements for the Bridal shower and for her wedding. They picked out some really beautiful flowers and got everything needed for the shower decorations/centerpieces. The day was very successful and we returned home for pizza and cards.

Saturday was HAIR DAY! Holly found the most perfect person to do her updo for her wedding day. As soon as she introduced herself at the salon, we all knew she was going to be fabulous and be a "must have" on the vendor team. Holly had a very unique style that she was hoping to achieve, and this girl nailed it on the first try. Later that day, the person making her veil came over to see how the finished look would come together, and that, too, was a huge success. Everything was falling into place quite nicely. We ended HAIR DAY with a fun bbq at the house and also with getting things ready for the next day...SHOWER DAY!

SHOWER DAY was finally here!! The morning started off with Holly going to her makeup artists' house to get her "trial" done. She, too, was the most perfect addition to the vendor team. "Team Holly" was just getting better and better! Holly's makeup turned out so glamorous while still looking very clean and not over-done. The whole process was very cool to watch and now she was all done up for her shower! After makeup, we headed to the shower location to start getting things ready. We got all the food set up, presents in place, decorations set, and then....party time! Guests started arriving and we were asked to play a "mingling/getting to know everyone" game, which was super fun! Everyone had a blast celebrating with Holly and showered her with lots of gifts from her registry. It was a great day! The rest of the evening was pretty relaxing. We reminisced about the days events and looked at all the gifts again and ate many leftovers from the shower.

MUSIC DAY has arrived. We had a meeting with the DJ, but before we could get our minds right with that task, it was a MUST that we hit up IN-N-OUT!!! Mmmm it was just as good as I remembered and my Mom's first experience. Ok, belly's full... CHECK! Now off to the DJ we went for another successful meeting with another vendor. After that final appointment, we headed home to finally lay out in the pool, a task we had been attempting all week but seemed to keep forgetting to do! Holly's Matron of Honor/childhood BFF came over to hang with us and we had a very nice, relaxing time chatting and solving life's many problems! LOL Later that evening, for our final night in Cali, we decided to have CPK (California Pizza Kitchen) one last time. It's one of our most favorite places to eat! Y- to the U- to the M! After stuffing our faces and bellies, we headed home to pack up our things. It was time to head back home to reality- boo :(

The next morning, we ate breakfast at the Snooty Fox-a cute little diner. They had amazing breakfast and it was the perfect way to end a perfect trip. After breakfast, it was off to the airport. We got everything checked in and headed for our gate. I went to get some tasty treats for on the plane and on my way back I was thinking in my head, "Wouldn't that be random if I see someone I know?!?" Well... I look up and there's Mary & Megan O'Farrel just getting off a plane! Holy smokes- I haven't seen Megan in YEARS and have to go all the way to Cali to run into these fellow Ohioans ;) Very funny and loved seeing them both. We said our goodbyes to Holly and boarded our plane for the super long trip back to Ohio.

The flight back was below average. I had a family sitting behind me that apparently had no courtesy for other people and I CLEARLY have a low tolerance right now ;) This small child that sat behind me not only whaled and wined the entire flight, but would get disgruntled every 3 minutes or so and decide to use my seat back as his kicking bag. Lovely, how many more hours til landing Cap'n? Wow, I had the luckiest seat in the plane. It was time to serve our "meal" and I was very starving and annoyed by this point. They mentioned they were serving turkey sandwiches, which was a plus for me since that is one of the meats I will actually eat...until I saw the meat. It was brown turkey...like roast beef-looking turkey. Barf. So I ate my box of lettuce that they called a salad and my mini twix bar. Our second flight was not so bad, but the end of it was a little bumpy due to some weather conditions. I was so glad when we finally landed and it would soon be time to see Brian and my kitties- I missed them so much!

I can't believe the trip came and went so fast. We had an absolute blast and was so glad we were able to share this special time in Holly's life- she means the world to us! Holly's mom, Suzie, was by far the best host EVER and my mom and I always love being with her!

Best wishes for lots of love and happiness Boo & Matty Matt Matt! I love you guys!
